| We are dedicated to our Teddy Roosevelt Terriers and improving the breed. We breed and raise our Teddy Roosevelt Terrier puppies to the UKC Breed Standard. "Teddies" are different from Rat Terriers even though still called Type B rat terriers by several different registeries(breed standards may vary depending on the registry). Type B Rat Terrier and Teddy Roosevelt Terrier are both the same dog -just called a different name. The Teddy's history is a Rat Terrier that is short, long and muscular . Even though other breeds were bred into the Rat Terrier line that develop the Teddy, the purpose was the same--to have the ultimate "Ratter" Many owners of the Teddy, agree, they have a unique personality--very comical and entertaining--"the forever clown"! The Teddy Roosevelt Terrier is a short stocky muscluar Terrier. They can range in size, but rarely found maturing less than 6-8 lbs. due to their muscle and bone mass. The UKC standard for height for a Teddy Roosevelt is between 8 and 15 inches at the withers. The length verses the height should be 10:7 or 10:8. Teddies are great versital dogs for families with children, hunters, or to be used in agility and obedience. The Teddy Roosevelt Terrier ia a very athletic dog. We nick name them our "Flying Squirrels" --When they leap they look like a flying squirrel! |

| Well, I hope you enjoy the tour. We have some nice dogs that have produced some nice pups--at least I think so... They must be, since mom and dad spend so much time at the dog shows, and I don't even get to go! I don't know how they expect to be ready for ring time with out me. Oh well....... After you have had a chance to look everything over, be sure to contact mom and dad for any further questions and references. Many of our extended families prayed for just the right pup to bless their family and home-- and many of our pups and rescue dogs (LIKE ME) have found their way to "God's choice" of forever homes. That's a match made in Heaven! Hope we get a chance to meet real soon-- THE BEST DOG EVER, "Pebbles--"(pictured here with MY best friend "Sasha" --I sure do miss her too........... |

| FACTS ABOUT THE PACK.............. Please Remember Before you buy a wonderful Teddy Roosevelt Terrier puppy, Rat Terrier puppy, or German Shepherd puppy....... 1--Life of a Teddy Roosevelt Terrier or Rat Terrier is 10-20 yrs with the average being around 15yrs. A German shepherd dog, average life is 10-15yrs. This is a long commitment. Be sure you are willing to make adjustments if necessary, to keep your puppy part of your family--You made that promise --a puppy is not a" fad", a "fashion", or a disposable item. This puppy will depend upon you for his life, health and happiness. 2-- Rat Terriers, Teddy Roosevelt Terriers, andGerman Shepherds, all are very intelligent breeds. The smarter the puppy, the greater the challenge. Patience is crucial in training. These pups only want to please and make YOU HAPPY! 3--Your Teddy, Rat Terrier, or German Shepherd will be very responsive to your emotions. If you are angry, sad, tired, sick, or happy, your dog will know and respond. You are his world! He will always be there to comfort you. He may even save your life by his special gifts from God --and nose that can detect things modern science has yet been able to create. Be aware of your dog at all times. The more you know him, the better you will know if he is trying to communicate an illness or danger. He will be your best friend, if you treat him with the love and companionship you would any friend. 4--A great German Shepherd dog, Rat Terrier, or Teddy Roosevelt Terrier, will be one that time has been spent doing daily positive training. A well mannered dog is a joy. It takes much time to train obedience, house manners, as well as socialization with other dogs and people. 5-- IF... you decide to make this long term commitment, and it is LONG TERM, see your wonderful family companion (that has brought you so much joy when he was young, protected you and your family), through his elderly years. Don't give up on him, when he NEEDS YOU MOST! You will be his comfort to the end and make that passing not one of fear, if you are present.
